Transparent fees, explained from the first appointment.
The first consultation is there to understand your situation, identify the legal questions and assess the steps to consider. Fees are set according to the nature of the case, its urgency, its complexity and the work that can be foreseen. The aim is that you should have, from the outset, precise information about how billing works and about the stages likely to affect the cost of the work.
This appointment is the moment to set out your situation, identify the first legal questions and consider the most suitable steps. You leave with a first reading of your case, clear explanations and a sense of the possible next steps.
Fees after the first consultationIf you decide to entrust your case to me, fees are assessed according to the nature of the case, its complexity, its urgency and the work to be done. The arrangements are explained and discussed with you in full transparency.
Remote consultation The consultation can also take place remotely, by Zoom or Google Meet, where coming to the office is not possible. In that case, it is payable before the appointment.
Weekend consultationIn an emergency, I can see you at the weekend, from 10am to 6pm. The consultation fee is then increased by 30%.
Fee agreement A fee agreement is drawn up when the case is opened. It sets out the financial framework of the work, how billing is handled and the terms on which we work together.
Interim statements An interim statement of costs and fees is submitted to you at regular intervals, so that payment for the various items of work is spread out and you do not receive one large invoice when the case is closed.
Legal aid You can check on the website of the Brussels Legal Aid Office (Bureau d'aide juridique, BAJ) whether you meet the conditions for legal aid. I remain free, however, to accept or decline a case under the legal aid scheme.

A first appointment at €150 incl. VAT to set out your situation, identify the legal questions and consider the most suitable steps.

Fee agreement
When the case is opened, a written agreement sets out the financial framework of the work, how billing is handled and the terms on which we work together.
- 03
Follow-up on your case
You are kept informed of progress at regular intervals, with interim statements of costs and fees so that payment for the work is spread out.
